This is an old case of mine; this is the case of asthma due to suppressed eczema with allopathic medication and external ointments. In this case 100% cure is achieved with the help of Homoeopathic medicines.
This patient came to my clinic for treatment of his asthma. He looked pretty weak and tired. He was a well-built middle-aged man. He was not able to speak full sentences due to difficulty in breathing. He took pause in between two words to take breath. He looked very worried and anxious. He was sent to me by his friends who were my homoeopathic patients and my father. A day before he came to my clinic, my father told me about him that he was not able to handle crowd in his shop due to his illness. He used to become irritable. He used to refuse work due to his illness.
On history taking, he had cough with difficulty in breathing for 3-4 yrs, increased in the last 3-4 months. He had expiratory wheeze. His complaints aggravated from talking, laughing, change of weather, cold and fanning. He felt slightly better after moving gently. When asthmatic attack came, he desired to sit quiet without talking to anybody. He became irritable if anyone talked to him or showed sympathy to him during asthmatic attack.
On further history taking, I came to know that he had eczema on the front of his right lower limb. He had taken treatment for eczema by dermatologist. The patient had observation that whenever he took allopathic treatment for eczema, it would disappear in one or two weeks and asthma reappear. It means asthma was alternating with eczema or vice versa.
He also had intermittent urticarial rash, hyperacidity with pain in epigastric region and frontal headache on and off.
On further history taking, in his mind symptoms, he had lots of fear of closed room, of lift, of crowd. He was anxious. He had anxiety about health and future. He was mostly talking about his business. He had urge for stool and urine every time he heard bad news or when he had mental stress.
He had profuse perspiration on scalp and back. He liked spicy food, pickles, and salt. He had aversion to meat. He was thirsty. Frequency of stool and urine was increased. His sleep was not sound. He had dreams of God and water. He was sensitive to heat.
On above history taking, his constitutional medicine was prescribed. On very first follow-up after one month, he didn’t have asthma, hyperacidity and headache, but eczema on his right lower limb reappeared and started to increase. It took around 4 years to complete the cure. During course of treatment, one or two doses of intercurrent medicine were needed. It was very difficult to treat suppressed eczema.
It needed patience and proper counselling of the patient about disease and Homeopathic treatment process. With the help of homeopathic medicine, all his complaints were cured. If you want to know his constitutional and intercurrent medicine, feel free to contact me.
